another week in paradise

This weekend was Heritage Days and we headed out for the parade. It wasn't the same not seeing the Dave there but we survived.
June, Leiaunna, Aunt Deb, Char, Dalten, Austin, Colten and Dakota
This is a bulldog who was watching from up above and it was just so cute

The after on the front porch
my lovely kitchen floor....can't wait to fix that. Over all the week has gone by fast but tensions are growing and we aren't getting along at all like we should....the stresses of remodeling UUHHHGGG. Oh well we will survive. I am trying to be understanding because on top of all the remodeling and stuff going on for the kids Adam quit smoking. His last cigarette was Thursday at 5:20. He is doing good but is very cranky. I'm hoping it will pass in a couple of weeks. Well till next time.

Another birthday

I just wanted to say Happy Second Birthday to my sunshine Dalten. Hope you are having a good day.

I wonder what he will be when he get a couple years older.....a fireman
a pirate...
construction worker
or maybe a plumber??? Time will tell I guess.

Just a day

The Halloween isle is the best...we found black hair gel so I bought some for Austin and he has been bugging me to spike it all weekend. Well here it is. They also have blue, red, and gold gel I'm sure we will just have to have in the near future.

Our Saturday consisted of tearing out the window on the front porch...it went surprisingly well.
Just a little proof we are truly white trash. We got this couch for free and after having it in the living room all summer it was just too long and low. Since it would be easier to remodel with no furniture in the room we put it out by Kiera's cage and she loved it, so much she ate almost the whole thing. It will hopefully gone soon so until then we are living large as poor white trash. lol

the remodeling continues

Here is another fine example of fine craftsmanship.... there are 2 layers of drywall in some sections.
The ceiling was drywall, then inch spacers, then lath and plaster.
After the tear out dining room
opposite wall

living room to dining room
kitchen door that will be moved
front door
south wall in dining roomthis is where all the furniture went...my room
just a little crowded
the mess we get to clean up now.....not the rock garden I imagined and not to mention there is more in the garage. We are so white trash right now.
from the volleyball game.....Adam and his mom

Happy Anniversary

I would love to wish my parent a very Happy 31st Anniversary. You would think after 31 years I would have a pic of my parents together by themselves. After searching all my pics this is the only one of them in the same pic. Congratulations and have a great day.

volleyball

June started volleyball a couple of weeks ago and her team is doing awesome. This last weekend June brought a friend to the game and we left Adalina in charge of pics and here is some of her handy work. We also finally finished ripping out our house and I will try to post those pics sometime this week. It is a true nightmare but I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. On top of volleyball and remodeling, June has been selling girl scout peanuts and candy is up to about 275 cans sold. Then on Sunday June and Austin attended the kick off party for ABC club (church) and will start attending every Wednesday. I have also been helping a local photographer with school pics. and am hoping to finish with her this week. And the final straw on the camels back is last Monday June got sick and Wednesday Austin started having another Asthma attack. So if I don't get new posts up you have so idea why.....crazy is the word of the week.

Adalina in all her glory
a little sweeter
he gets kinda bored during the game so we bring the Nintendo to keep us busy
the girls playing...June is number 5
another of the girls.
